First "Real" show was Kansas in 76 in Chicago. Saw Led Zeppelin at the Chicago Stadium the same year. Saw the Dead in the illustrious May 77 timeframe.

First non-Rock show would have been Harry Chapin at 11 in 75.

Are you sure that you didn't see Chicago in Kansas? Just kidding. ...was that the Masque tour? ? By far my favorite Kansas album and IMO their best!!!

Agreed, Masque was their best album, and in retrospect, their best tour. They were far less spontaneous in later eras. Neer saw a concert, though, actually in Kansas...
